Note: Due to the incredible number of 2-day and Friday only attendees, we have closed registration for Friday. Sorry!

That means, there is still an opportunity to listen to great speakers and to attend sessions on Saturday! Please sign-up soon to be able to attend.

The 2018 Annual MCSS conference will be held in Southeast Michigan this year at the Macomb County ISD.

What we can promise is the conference will be filled with information, ideas, collaborations with peers, and the opportunity to share with fellow social studies colleagues.

Each Social Studies content organization will be represented and providing sessions at the conference:

Michigan Geographic Alliance

Michigan Council for History Education

Michigan Council on Economic Education

Center for Civic Education

Michigan Council for the Social Studies

Topics such as an update on new Social Studies content expectations, the C3, and current happenings in the world of social studies will be presented.

There are sessions for every level from elementary, middle level, secondary, post-secondary and Social Studies supervisors.

The Conference Session Guide is available. Please click here to begin learning about all the wonderful sessions available to conference attendees.
