Teachers of grades 7-12, this one’s for you!!!!
Join us on Thursday, April 16th, from 8:45 — 3:30 and learn how to teach WWI like an ACE!
The Great War was truly a global war that engaged many diverse nations and resulted in significant contributions that long remained after the war had ended. WWI 360 incorporates meaningful content and primary source focused methods for teaching World War 1 and its enduring impact. Join us for an engaging workshop that incorporates cross-curricular teaching resources from the National WWI Museum, Michigan’s Revised Social Studies Standards, and reading and writing strategies that are in alignment with GELN’s Essential Practices for Disciplinary Literacy Instruction in the Secondary Classroom.
Sponsorship for this workshop provided by the U.S. World War One Centennial Commission.
