Participants will investigate what brought Asian Americans to Michigan, examine their contributions, explore acts of resilience, consider contemporary challenges, and assess how to make their history and contributions more visible. Methods include analyzing primary documents, interacting with children’s literature, creating choice boards, including oral histories, and ensuring informed action..
